How to Remember Dates

I used to be the number one person to remember important dates like birthdays and anniversaries. Now, I know certain people’s important dates, but I may started slipping a little. The obvious thing is to record it, but there are multiple ways you can do that so that you will actually remember and it won’t be a date marked down, but hidden under a stack of papers. Here are some ways to do that:
1-Purchase one of those calendars that are not “year-specific” and mark down every person’s birthday and anniversary on there. Keep it in a place you will notice it (next to your computer, on your fridge, etc).
2-Sign up for an account on birthdayalarm.com. They will send you reminders.
3-Every time you learn of a friend/family member’s new date, record it in your digital address book. If you are a technical person, you can record their birthday/anniversary with their email address in your Outlook or other email address book.
4-If you at least know how to use MS Word or another text writing tool, then start out writing the name of every month on a sheet of paper with an adequate amount of space beneath. Start with the earliest day and mentally go through the month and type of the date and who that date belongs to. For instance:

January
3-Dad
7-Bill
12-Linda, Sara

You can make 2 of those for birthdays and anniversaries. Once again, place it in a spot you know you will see it.

Update it yearly if you meet a new friend.

Good luck!
